WeWard, Dropbox, and Yahoo Join Middle Tech Europe to Champion a Fair, Open, and Human-Centered Internet

WeWard, alongside Dropbox and Yahoo, joins Middle Tech Europe to champion a fair, open, and human-centered internet.
We’re proud to share that WeWard is joining Middle Tech Europe (MTE), a growing coalition of innovative companies shaping the future of tech policy in the region.
The coalition, which includes Dropbox, Yahoo, Automattic, Discord, Pinterest, Reddit, Patreon, Dailymotion, and Yubo, represents the “middle voice” in Europe’s tech landscape and advocates for a fairer, more diverse, and open internet across Europe.
At WeWard, our mission is simple: to get more people walking the world over. It’s a mission rooted in improving daily life and serving our users’ best interests. As innovation accelerates, it’s more crucial than ever for mid-sized companies to represent these needs and stand up for human-centered values and responsible digital progress.
"At WeWard, we believe technology should serve people: protecting their privacy, improving their daily lives, and adapting responsibly to innovations like AI. We've seen how simple habits, powered by digital tools, can generate massive health and social impact. This is why we are joining Middle Tech Europe: to share our experience, engage in dialogue, and help shape a European framework that not only safeguards trust, but also unlocks innovation for the benefit of all," said Yves Benchimol, CEO & Co-founder of WeWard.
As part of Middle Tech Europe, WeWard will collaborate with like-minded companies to help shape balanced, people-first tech policies that promote transparency, protect users, and ensure that innovation remains accessible to everyone.
We’re excited to contribute our perspective and carry forward this mission among a pool of exceptional companies.
