Discover the behind-the-scenes of WeWard through a new series of content led by Wardy. For this first series of articles, Wardy introduces you to Jessica, our talented International Community Manager, who graciously took part in the spotlight!

Jessica opens the doors to her pivotal role within the Customer Support - Product team and shares her journey at WeWard. Her passion for environmental conservation is evident not only in her personal life but also in her professional commitment.

Wardy: Hello Jessica, thank you for taking the time to chat with me today. Could you introduce your role at WeWard and let us know how long you've been working here?

Jessica: Hello Wardy! It's a pleasure to chat with you today. I've been with WeWard for a year and a half now! My journey began as an International Business Developer during my end-of-studies internship. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to evolve within the company as an International Community Manager in a permanent position.

Wardy: Fascinating! Can you give us a more detailed insight into what your daily role entails?

Jessica: Of course! My role is quite versatile, but it mainly revolves around two aspects. First and foremost, I oversee the Community Managers who provide customer support in the various countries where WeWard operates. Additionally, I ensure the translation and cultural adaptation of the app and marketing content for each country.

Wardy: Your team seems to play a crucial role. How is it composed?

Jessica: My team is part of the CS - Product department, and we currently have 7 members. We also collaborate with vendors for translations and customer support, enabling us to provide an optimal experience for our international users.

Wardy: Now, let's talk about what attracted you to WeWard. What elements piqued your interest in joining this journey?

Jessica: We're increasingly drawn to transparency, sincerity, and authenticity. These values lie at the core of my career choice. Furthermore, deeply concerned about the environment, I was seeking a company aligned with my personal convictions, while promoting nature preservation, sustainable development, and corporate responsibility. That's what led me to WeWard.

Wardy: I'd be curious to learn about some highlights from your experience here. Could you share one of your standout moments since joining WeWard?

Jessica: Absolutely, each day brings its share of enriching experiences! If I had to choose, it's the moments when we exchange and collaborate within the team that resonate with me the most. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the entire team united around a common goal. For instance, we sometimes organize hackathons where ideas flow freely!

Wardy: It's truly inspiring to see how you work together on creative projects. Let's now discuss upcoming projects. What are your priorities for the latter half of 2023?

Jessica: In the coming months, I'm focusing on user support. My main goal is to continually enhance this experience. What's exciting is that we closely listen to user feedback, which is essential in guiding product development. We aim for WeWard to be adapted to every corner of the globe where our app is used, while remaining true to our values.

Wardy: Lastly, could you share your record for daily steps thanks to WeWard?

Jessica: Certainly! I must admit, I wasn't a big fan of walking before joining WeWard. However, since my arrival, I've made significant progress. My record for daily steps is 23,505, an achievement I'm quite proud of!

Jessica, our International Community Manager, embodies passions and values that are crucial to WeWard. Her commitment to authenticity, environmental respect, and user satisfaction perfectly aligns with our app's vision. We're delighted to have minds like Jessica's within our team, contributing to shaping a healthier and more active future for all. Join us in this inspiring journey toward a world where every step counts!
